Important notice regarding upcoming ThinkUKnow sessions

Due to COVID-19, all ThinkUKnow sessions will be temporarily suspended from this week (18 March, 2020), through to Monday 13 April, 2020. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and advise you when our bookings are back up and running.

ThinkUKnow has made this decision in the best interests of the wellbeing of our volunteers, presenters and school communities.

If you have a presentation booking during this time you will receive correspondence from ThinkUKnow to advise your presentation has been cancelled.

We encourage you to consider booking a presentation at a later date.

In the meantime, we will be continuing to provide online child safety education via our Facebook and Twitter accounts.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why are ThinkUKnow presentations being cancelled?

To play our part in limiting the spread of COVID-19, ThinkUKnow has made the decision to temporarily suspend all sessions in the best interests of the wellbeing of our volunteers, presenters and school communities. This includes all presentations scheduled to be delivered between 17 March until 13 April inclusive, at which time the situation will be reviewed. We thank you for your patience and understanding.

How do I cancel a ThinkUKnow presentation?

If you have a presentation booked between 17 March and 13 April, you will receive correspondence from ThinkUKnow to advise your presentation has been cancelled. No further action will be required on your part regarding the cancellation, however please consider re-booking a session for a later date in 2020.

The booking centre is currently working to cancel all bookings and notify organisers and volunteers as quickly as possible, so you may experience a short delay with our notification.

If you have a presentation confirmed between 17 March and 13 April, and have not received a cancellation notification from ThinkUKnow within 3 business days of this presentation, please contact the ThinkUKnow Booking Centre on 1300 362 936 during business hours.                

Will you be offering digital presentations in the interim?

ThinkUKnow will unfortunately not be offering individual digital presentations while our sessions are temporarily suspended. However, we encourage you to consider booking a presentation at a later date and follow our social media channels for further updates and online safety education.

When will I be able to book another ThinkUKnow presentation if my session has been cancelled?

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and advise you when our bookings are back up and running. You can visit our Facebook and Twitter, or our website, for updates as to when sessions will resume.

What if I have a presentation scheduled the week of 13 April? Or later in April?

We will continue to monitor the situation closely, and review our position closer to the date. You will be advised by ThinkUKnow if your presentation booking is cancelled.

Should I still make a booking for ThinkUKnow session later this year?

We hope to be back up and running as soon as possible. Schools are encouraged to submit a booking request for later in the year.

What if I’ve recently made a booking that I want to cancel?
