Training and Volunteers

Our presenters

ThinkUKnow cyber safety sessions are delivered across Australia using a national network of more than 600 volunteers from law enforcement and industry. This national network means access to the ThinkUKnow program for as many Australians as possible.

Our industry partners are Microsoft, Datacom and Commonwealth Bank.

Each adult cyber safety session includes a law enforcement officer alongside an industry partner, who can provide and share updated industry and technical information throughout the presentation.

Digital sessions are offered by the ThinkUKnow team if a presenter is unable to attend in person.

All State and Territory police assist us in delivering your youth cyber safety presentations across Australia.

ThinkUKnow Volunteer of the Year Awards

ThinkUKnow recognises its volunteers and presenters for outstanding service through the annual ThinkUKnow Volunteer of the Year Awards.

Volunteers are the lifeblood of the ThinkUKnow program, helping the program reach as many people across Australia as possible.

The awards recognise six of Australia’s most dedicated volunteers in the national ThinkUKnow cyber safety and crime prevention program and are announced on December 5 as part of International Volunteer Day.

Nominees demonstrate contributing to the success of the program through the quality and quantity of presentations delivered, as well as their role in championing cyber safety within their organisation and local community.

State and Territory police youth presenters are also recognised through the ‘Youth Partner of the Year’ Award,  given to the organisation that has delivered the most youth presentations per capita and/or contributed the most towards the success of the program.
